Whether you’re following strict social distancing rules or hosting a very small get together for Easter this year, we’ve gathered some of our favorite Easter Brunch ideas for you and your loved ones to try out this year. The best part? All of these ideas can very easily become a quick DIY job!
Without further ado, let’s take a scroll through our top Easter Brunch ideas and let you decide which works best for you this year. Maybe you already have the food planned out but have no inspiration to decorate your home? We’ve got you, girl. Perhaps you don’t know how to cater to your newly vegan friends? We’ve found one amazing recipe they’ll be sure to love! Or in actual fact, you have zero ideas how to actually host an Easter Brunch and you need all the help you can get! Yep, we’ve got you covered, too. Let’s take a peek…
1. DIY Easter Brunch Invitations
First up on our epic Easter Brunch ideas list is, of course, the invitations! You can’t host a party without them, right? Right! Now, while you could easily purchase some e-vites from Etsy and send them out to your guests with ease, where’s the real fun in that? Get into the Easter spirit and grab some supplies to create your own Easter invitations! Your guests will love the extra effort you went to, and you’ll be the hostess with the mostest – without too much trouble at all! Promise!
2. DIY Easter Brunch Decorations
Sometimes, a little DIY goes a long way, and in this case, it may actually be easier to make your own Easter Brunch decorations than buy a bunch you may not use again! This way, you get to support small, local businesses while learning a new craft! Take this DIY adult craft kit for example; the company will send you a selection of wooden tags, paint, and stencils and you choose the results. It’s the perfect balance of DIY and a helping hand – just when you need it!
3. DIY Mimosa Bar
Now, your invitations have been sent and the decor is underway, so what’s next for this year’s Easter Brunch ideas? A DIY bar, of course! Here at Cotier Brand, we love DIY kits and our Mimosa Bar Kit is ideal for any occasion, let alone Easter Brunch! It comes with all you need: drink tags, eco-friendly straws, hanging signs, and table signs, and they’re all designed in a gorgeously classy theme – ideal for any brunch – especially Easter!

4. DIY Food Station
When it comes to creating your food station, there are a million and one things that go into making the decor stand out well. The number one thing is your centerpiece, and we think we’ve cracked the code for this Easter Brunch idea! Dig out one of your winter tree decorations (or find your own!) and get a pack of these plain Easter eggs on Amazon to decorate. Once drawn on and painted to your taste, decorate your tree with them and there’s your wonderful, DIY centerpiece – just ready to show off for your Easter Brunch!
5. DIY Easter Games With Friends
If you’re spending Easter with friends this year, then we think some of these Easter Brunch games are ideal! Naturally, sharing Easter eggs are on the cards, but why not try out something new? Check out this Easter Egg Hunt Kit on Etsy, complete with balloon clues and blow-up bunny ears! It’s perfect for getting a group of friends together and letting the lows of the pandemic fade away for a few hours… Cheers to a good, old scavenger hunt this Easter!
6. DIY Easter Activities With Family
If you’re lucky enough to be spending Easter Brunch with your family this year, why not do something to memorize 2021 with a keepsake for the whole family? Pick up some paint-your-own bunny peeps on Etsy and give each family member one to paint as they please. Once everyone’s finished with their bunny, ask them to choose someone to gift it to – and there you have it! A perfect memory of an unforgettable Easter (in the middle of a global pandemic!) and a lovely way to spend the food-coma with your family. Win-win!
7. DIY Easter Brunch Inside Decor
Depending on where you’ll be hosting Easter Brunch this year, you may indeed want to plan to spend it indoors. If you’re sure the weather won’t be on your side, then it’s definitely safer to host inside (see what we did there?!). Think about how you want your indoor decor to look and work on the finer details, such as an Easter-themed table runner. It instantly dresses up your home and will create a central space for your guests to gather – before or after the main event; the food!
8. DIY Easter Brunch Outside Decor
On the other hand, if the weather is looking to be in your favor, then definitely try hosting your Easter Brunch outside. There are plenty of outdoor Easter decorations to choose from, but you really can’t go wrong with some of this carrot bunting! They’re a really sweet addition to your backyard and will definitely bring the Easter vibe to your brunch! Add in some twinkly fairy lights and pillar candles and you’ve got an all-day to all-night atmosphere to enjoy with your guests this year.

9. DIY Meaty Easter Brunch
Thanks to Southern Living, we’ve found some incredible Easter Brunch recipe ideas to try out this year! We’re particularly a fan of this Sweet Hot Plum-Glazed Ham and can’t wait to get down to cooking it! A glazed ham is a great centerpiece for any Easter Brunch and we think this recipe will really go down a treat. While the flavors aren’t necessarily traditional, the outcome sounds amazing. Garnish it with some traditional pineapple rings and you’ve got a beautiful dish ready for your loved ones to devour!

10. DIY Vegan Easter Brunch
With many friends and family members opting for the vegan way of life, it’s only fair that we as hosts try to be as accommodating as possible to our loved one’s dietary requirements. Contrary to popular belief, vegan food doesn’t just have to be ‘rabbit food’ (excuse the pun!) and Bobs Red Mill is here to prove it. They’ve put together a whole vegan Easter Brunch from starters to desserts, so have a scroll through and get cooking! Even if your guests aren’t exclusively vegan, it may be a cool challenge to try out a vegan recipe to add into the mix of your Easter Brunch this year!
11. DIY Traditional Easter Treats
Keeping with tradition for tradition’s sake, what’s an Easter Brunch without some freshly baked hot cross buns? Incomplete, we think! Whether you’re looking to follow a trusted recipe, or bake your own from scratch, this is one Easter Brunch idea that definitely shouldn’t be left off the table. Mix it up with some different types of fruit or add a little more cinnamon for an extra kick, but be sure to put those buns are on the table this Easter!
12. DIY Unique Easter Treats
Rounding off this list of our favorite Easter Brunch ideas is this uniquely adorable Bunny Butt Cake. It’s certainly the first time we’ve seen one and we think it’s the perfect addition to any Easter Brunch! The kids will be giggling – and the adults, too! – plus the recipe sounds absolutely delicious so, why not? All that’s left to do is give it a go and see if it becomes the next showstopper for your Easter Brunch this year! We’ll definitely be attempting to make one for our family!
Here’s to celebrating a healthy and happy Easter this year, complete with family or friends! We know that 2020 was a struggle of note, and here we are hoping that 2021 starts to get better, very soon. For now, keep your head up and your heart strong and get to planning your Easter Brunch. We know you’ll make it incredible and your guests are guaranteed to feel good to get out of the house for a few hours! Until then, keep well and safe. We appreciate you so much.
